Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or related area.
- 2 years of technical or professional experience.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheet and project management) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, cross functional team capacity to bring marketing ideas from concept to execution.
- Demonstrated experience with event management and sponsorships.
- Demonstrated understanding of short and long-term marketing plan development, budgeting and project scheduling.
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the effective creation and delivery of customer solutions and products to employees and/or customers through various marketing and communications channels.
- Coordinates activities to assist in participation and engagement in products that supports the overall company brand.
- Ensures marketing includes appropriate employee awareness of company information and activities.
- Recommends and supports the best methods and types of marketing or communication tools to reinforce key messages.
- Uses creative concepts and writing to reinforce company brand and effectively market programs or solutions to employees and customers.
- Supports planned marketing activities for internal and/or external customers with an understanding of the subject matter to incorporate into communications.
- Ensures marketing and communications activities meet internal customers' timing and objectives.
- Consider potential impacts on other planned communications and assists with the identification of key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Applies various marketing strategies to successfully meet the expected response from the target audience.
- Participates in community events to enhance company reputation and brand.
