About the Role Join Salomon as a Marketing Analyst within the Marketing Analytics & Insights team. You will help measure, optimize, and scale marketing investments across global markets, acting at the intersection of marketing, data, and business decision-making to ensure every initiative is measurable and impactful.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance across channels; translate data into actionable insights; provide recommendations to optimize campaigns, channels, and creative execution; support planning with forward-looking insights.
- Define and implement reporting frameworks for major marketing campaigns and investments; ensure global consistency in reporting standards and templates across regions; set up clear KPI frameworks aligned with business and marketing objectives; ensure every marketing initiative is tracked with relevant performance indicators.
- Collaborate with Marketing Scientist and Marketing Operations teams to inform budget allocation decisions; provide data-driven recommendations on media investment strategies; support optimization of marketing spend across channels and monitor major investments.
- Own and structure the marketing test-and-learn roadmap; define testing frameworks such as A/B testing, incrementality, and campaign comparisons; ensure proper test design, execution, and measurement; translate test results into clear recommendations.
- Act as a key partner to marketing, operations, regional teams, and analytics stakeholders; ensure alignment between global guidelines and regional execution; influence teams to adopt data-driven practices and reporting standards; serve as the point of contact when new marketing initiatives are launched to define measurement approach.
- Use SQL and visualization tools such as Power BI to extract and present insights; continuously improve reporting tools, dashboards, and methodologies; stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in marketing analytics.
What We're Looking For
- 5–7 years of experience in marketing analytics, media planning, or performance marketing.
- Strong background in marketing with a solid understanding of campaign strategy and media execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in SQL; Snowflake experience is a plus.
- Experience in paid media, communications, or media planning environments.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.
- Fluent in English; professional working proficiency in French.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to bridge data and business needs and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or related field.
- Experience with marketing tools such as Meta, Google Ads, DSPs, attribution tools, or PR monitoring platforms is a plus.
- Strong curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to challenge existing approaches.
- Essential competencies include critical thinking and effective communication and collaboration.
Nice to Have
- Experience collaborating with ROI modelling or marketing science teams; familiarity with test-and-learn methodologies and ROI measurement is a plus.
