Job Summary

The MSC USA Marketing Analyst is responsible for implementing marketing activations (online & offline) and supporting the annual marketing calendar, always-on activities of the brand as well as local activations to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Helps implement Advertising and Marketing campaigns at nationwide level, under the supervision of the Marketing Manager
• Coordinates multiple media; Handles various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in email sends.
• Researches and analyzes relevant shipping industry trends and statistics to provide recommendations to commercial management.
• Plays a role in development of collateral including brochures, video, and photography; Works with different departments in the organization, requesting quotes and finding materials best suited to meet their needs.
• Assists with event planning and coordination of MSC USA sponsored events (tradeshows, conferences etc.), including working with vendors, event coordinators, and producing collateral material.
• Assists in tracking, measuring, and analyzing all social media related activity to evaluate ROI.
• Assists in production of relevant and high-quality content (corporate announcements, creative content, internal comms).
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required skills / abilities

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign required)

• Familiar with Microsoft 365 features (Power Bi, Share Point, One Drive)

• Expertise in email marketing and marketing automation technology

• Strong analytical and graphic design skills

• Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• One year of work or internship experience in a related role (e.g. communications, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Content Marketing, Relationship Management etc.)

• Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

• Must be able to commute to the designated office location

• Presence required on-site 5 days per week

• Work Authorization

• Authorization to work in the U.S

• This role requires working on-site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed.
