About the Role
Canonical is seeking marketers who love technology to communicate Ubuntu and open source solutions to a global, sophisticated audience. This is a public leadership role within our marketing team, responsible for crafting and delivering messages online and in person across the Canonical portfolio. You will help amplify Canonical's narrative and guide growth through measurable engagement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and deliver clear, compelling messaging for Canonical's technology products and open infrastructure to technical readers, executives, and partners.
- Act as an advocate for Canonical's brands and products across the full portfolio, with a public presence at meetups, meetings, conferences, partner workshops, and press events.
- Work with analytics to measure engagement, derive insights, and iterate messaging to drive growth in engagement, awareness, consumption and commerce across Canonical's audience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure messaging resonates with the analyst community, tech press, CIOs, graduates, prospects, and existing customers, translating data into compelling visuals and narratives.
