About the Role Lockton is seeking a Market Operations Analyst to support all P&C market management activities, ensuring operations are efficient, data-driven, and strategically aligned. The role emphasizes contract lifecycle management, data mining, and delivering insights to guide market engagement and executive decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the contract lifecycle, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company standards.
- Evaluate compensation agreements and provide recommendations aligned with market standards.
- Monitor key goals and objectives with Market Engagement leaders and markets.
- Solicit and analyze feedback from Series and product line leaders to identify areas for improvement.
- Data mining: extract and analyze MAP and loss data; collaborate with data analytics practices to understand developments and evaluate opportunities for the market.
- Track and report changes in operations, personnel, and financials for assigned markets.
- Analyze changes in supplemental compensation, focusing on budget adherence.
- Complete ad hoc analytics requests to support market management; prepare concise summaries for executive meetings and annual surveys.
- Participate in data governance activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy for market data.
- Develop competency in understanding P&C data models to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Contribute to improving operational efficiency in market management and market security functions.
- Attend market meetings, take notes, respond to inquiries, and address data requests promptly.
- Track actual vs expected compensation against budget on a quarterly basis.
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in data analytics or financial analysis.
- Strong Excel proficiency, including tables and graphs.
- Excellent critical thinking with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an executive presence.
- Highly organized with effective time management.
- P&C industry experience is a plus.
