Job title: Market Manager - Commercial Banking

About the Role The Market Manager is responsible for the overall performance of a defined market within Truist's Commercial Banking segment, driving client experience, profitability, risk management, and growth. The role integrates all banking functions with LOB partners and IRM to position Truist as the Premier Advisory Bank in the market.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a focused marketing plan, grow new relationships, and expand existing client relationships. Responsible for meeting loan, deposit, and fee-based revenue expectations.
  • Deliver a differentiated Client Experience using Financial Insights and other advisory tools across client interactions, prospects, and centers of influence.
  • Develop new business relationships and grow market share of business loans and non-credit services; execute Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) with partners; participate in joint calling and solution delivery.
  • Oversee profitability, quality, liquidity, and growth of the commercial loan portfolio; manage credit relationships, proposals, documentation, compliance, loan closings, and risk management; enforce data integrity and policy adherence.
  • Lead the community advisory board and related activities; engage civic, professional, and business groups to solicit new business.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and training; twelve years banking experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication; fluency in English
  • Deep understanding of commercial credit, underwriting, loan structuring, and pricing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to lead and manage multiple priorities

  • Master’s degree
