About the Role Corning Optical Communications is seeking a Market Development Manager, Federal Enterprise Network Solutions to drive growth and market adoption of Corning’s advanced network infrastructure solutions across the U.S. Federal market, including DoD and Federal Civilian agencies. You will serve as a Federal market subject matter expert, shaping opportunities and aligning solutions to mission-critical customer requirements, modernization initiatives, and secure communications infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Drive growth and market adoption of Corning’s Federal Enterprise Network Solutions in DoD and Federal Civilian agencies.
- Lead business development initiatives focused on Fiber to the Edge (FttE), multi-classification mesh, security solutions, and LAN architectures.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders, systems integrators, prime contractors, consultants, and internal sales teams to identify, shape, influence, and win strategic Federal opportunities.
- Navigate Federal procurement processes and contract vehicles; align technical solutions to Federal customer requirements and cybersecurity priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, networking, government technology, or related infrastructure markets supporting or leading business development within Federal markets, including DoD and Federal Civilian agencies.
- Strong technical expertise in enterprise LAN architectures, multi-classification mesh environments, secure and resilient network infrastructure, physical layer communications, and classified or multi-domain environments.
- Solid understanding of Federal procurement processes, contract vehicles, acquisition channels, and engagement with prime contractors, system integrators, defense contractors, consultants, and government-funded programs.
- Ability to work across agency stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
