We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Marine Technician
Location: Lagos
Role Purpose Operate, monitor and support maintenance of producing wells and associated wellhead systems to ensure safe, reliable and efficient production while maintaining well integrity and compliance with operating procedures.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Equipment availability and reliability, Preventive-maintenance compliance, Safe execution of assigned work, Maintenance response time, Quality of maintenance records, Housekeeping and equipment preservation, Reduction in repeat equipment failures.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine inspection, preventive maintenance and basic corrective maintenance on assigned marine equipment and systems. Support maintenance of winches, capstans, mooring equipment, pumps, hydraulic systems and other marine auxiliary equipment as applicable. Inspect equipment condition, identify defects and promptly report abnormalities or safety concerns. Assist with marine equipment testing, lubrication, adjustments and component replacement in accordance with approved procedures. Support safe cargo, lifting, mooring and transfer activities within assigned competency and authorization. Maintain tools, spares and maintenance records and provide accurate equipment-status information. Work with vessel crews, offshore maintenance teams and marine supervisors during troubleshooting and repairs. Execute work under PTW, isolation, toolbox-talk and HSE requirements. Participate in emergency drills and marine response activities as assigned. Maintain good housekeeping and preservation standards for marine work areas and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

HND / Technical Diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline. 8-12 years' relevant marine technical or offshore maintenance experience, preferably in oil and gas operations. Relevant offshore safety, marine technical, STCW or trade certification is desirable.
