About the Role
The Hershey S10 role provides foundational skilled trades support across manufacturing and utility systems. Under close supervision, you perform routine installation, maintenance, and repair tasks and follow established procedures. The position is focused on developing familiarity with production equipment, tools, and safety practices to support daily operations and build core technical skills for progression in Manufacturing Technical Trades. What You'll Do

Perform Routine Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Tasks: The S10 employee follows detailed instructions to support basic steps on manufacturing and utility equipment, completing portions such as cleaning components, tightening fasteners, and making simple adjustments to keep equipment safe and reliable.

Conduct Basic Equipment Inspections: Visual checks, simple measurements, and basic condition assessments are performed; findings are noted and reported to senior technicians for further evaluation.

Assist Technicians With Higher-Level Tasks: Prepare tools, parts, and materials and support work setups for more complex tasks performed by senior team members, following direction closely and observing proper methods.

Maintain Work Areas, Tools, and Materials: Clean, organize, and maintain tools, workspaces, and parts areas according to procedures; proper handling and storage support safety and efficiency. What We're Looking For

Interest in skilled trades and a willingness to learn; foundational technical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Ability to work as part of a team and communicate within the crew to support daily operations.

Basic mechanical/measuring skills, comfort with inspecting equipment and reporting findings, and readiness to assist with setup and material preparation.
