About the Role Weir is seeking a Manufacturing Technician - Plastics at the Belleview Townley site to support urethane molding processes, operate and maintain equipment, uphold quality standards, and drive productivity while maintaining a safe work environment. The role operates on 1st Shift: 7am - 4:30pm, M-F with additional overtime as business requires. What You'll Do
- Pours Urethane into molds and lines different pump parts
- Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
- Maintains a clean workstation and production floor
- Follows production guidelines and specifications
- Finalizes and packages products for shipment
- Monitors the production line and removes faulty products
- Participates in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Pulls and puts away molds and cores based on manufacturing needs
- Demonstrates safety-first mindset consistent with zero-harm culture What We're Looking For
- Troubleshoot molding problems
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Proficiency with basic hand tools (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as being self-directed
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Physical capability to stand, sit and bend for long periods
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noise, heat, dirt Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $16 per hour, plus overtime as needed
- 1st Shift: 7am - 4:30pm, M-F; Additional overtime available as business requires
