About the Role Join L3Harris as a Manufacturing Technician, CNC Optics on the Weekend Shift. You will help manufacture precision optic components by setting up and operating CNC equipment, inspecting parts, and maintaining quality and safety standards. This role supports critical defense technology programs that connect space, air, land, sea and cyber domains in service of national security. What You'll Do
- Set up, program, and operate CNC equipment to fabricate precision optic components to tight tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality; document measurements and ensure conformity to specifications.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and uphold safety and quality procedures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing team to meet production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to work instructions, process controls, and security requirements in a defense environment. What We're Looking For
- Interest in precision optics manufacturing and defense technology.
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and process specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, safety-minded, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to work the Weekend Shift and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with CNC equipment is a plus.
