Manufacturing Technician - 3rd Shift
POSITION SUMMARY: Monitor, troubleshoot, setup, changeover, and startup, and shutdown specific manufacturing equipment including automation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately perform machine / mold set-up and shutdown duties for molding operations.
- Assist with sample/validation runs on new and revised products.
- Document machine and automation settings to include; mold setup and program changes as defined by written instructions.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve machine or automation malfunctions, quality, and in-process issues.
- Machine operation including controls, safety switches, restarts/start-ups, and shutdowns.
- Monitor and record machine performance rates.
- Complete required Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks as assigned.
- Keep a clean work area, machines / equipment and sustain 6S principles.
