Manufacturing Technical Support Analyst
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Technical Support Analyst (SAP ECC & MES Analyst) for an 18-month+ Contract role.

This position will be supporting our clients Redmond, WA Manufacturing Team, related to maintaining/troubleshooting their SAP ECC and DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) computer systems. In addition, this role will work cross-functionally with IT teams to perform UAT testing, validating enhancements, and verifying bug fixes.
The ideal Candidate has strong Manufacturing functional and industry experience and is very technically oriented. This role will rely more on Functional knowledge of Manufacturing and ERP systems along with strong trouble-shooting skills, more so than a traditional IT background. Preference is for someone with a Manufacturing/Engineering background who has a strong Technology aptitude and has worked with ERP and MES systems.
Duties
- Analyzing manufacturing/business problems to be solved within automated systems (ERP and MES)
- Providing functional/technical knowledge for identifying, evaluating, and creating solutions to problems identified in the ERP and MES systems, from a Manufacturing perspective
- Configuring system settings and options; planning and executing unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creating specifications for system changes to resolve issues
- Providing support and consultation to functional users related to ERP and MES systems
- Analyzing manufacturing data in the ERP/MES systems
- Troubleshooting the connection between functional manufacturing processes and business systems
- Leveraging manufacturing, materials, engineering, and/or data-analysis experience to resolve ERP/MES issues
Job Requirements

Technical Degree such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial, Process Engineering, or Computer Science

2+ years' experience supporting manufacturing processes, users, and systems

Experience working with SAP ECC (ERP), DELMIA Apriso (MES) -- or -- similar systems

Background in Medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across different time zones

Knowledge of Quality Systems and environmental compliance

A background in Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, and/or ERP/MES Data-Analysis with a strong Systems aptitude
