Job title: Manufacturing Supervisor
About the Role CNH Industrial is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to plan, organize, and lead people, materials, equipment and processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery and profit goals. You will apply lean manufacturing tools and techniques to continuously improve safety, cost, quality and efficiency in your area.
What You'll Do
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to CNH safety programs, policies, and regulations.
- Supervise area for abnormalities from standard in man, material, machine, and method; address abnormalities in standard processes, machine operation, product quality, and logistics management in a timely manner.
- Supervise and direct hourly employees in the production of parts, components, and finished products to meet established efficiency targets; develop and implement corrective action plans when targets are not met.
- Produce quality parts and finished goods that meet established quality goals.
- Administer operating budgets and monitor results to assure departmental objectives are achieved.
- Maintain required levels of inventory and develop and implement corrective action plans when required.
- Perform continuous improvement activities aimed at improving safety, efficiency, quality, and costs.
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations within policy; support HR activities such as employee selection, pay administration, employee counseling, training, performance reviews, and discipline for hourly employees, and administration of policies and agreements.
- Monitor and coordinate the maintenance of equipment in the department to meet the work schedule.
- Administer and facilitate time standards in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering to maintain fair standards throughout the department.
- Implement company strategies and process changes at the operational level.
- Lead and direct Kaizens and Continuous Improvement projects.
What We're Looking For
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree, OR Associate's degree plus 3 years experience in Supervising/Manufacturing, OR High School diploma and 10 years experience in Supervising/Manufacturing.
- Experience supervising/manufacturing.
- Experience leading Kaizens and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Ability to implement company strategies at the operational level.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and techniques and the ability to apply them to improve safety, cost, quality, and efficiency.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 61,500 - 82,000 per year, plus any applicable bonus.
- Pay Transparency: For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location; if a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated prior to the first interview.
