Job title: Manufacturing Program Manager - HSDC

About the Role The Manufacturing Program Manager will lead and coordinate multiple HSDC projects to implement new product solutions and expand manufacturing capacity within the business unit. You will partner with Technology and Product Line Management to drive strategic initiatives and lead cross-functional teams to transfer new products and processes into manufacturing.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as program lead for implementing the manufacturing strategy delivering quality, flexibility, short cycle-times and cost targets for the HSDC segment.
  • Lead global efforts for process and equipment delivery standardization.
  • Coordinate with Technology and OFC/OCS Division Engineering to align resources during NPI.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Commercial teams and external customers to exceed expectations.
  • Engage equipment vendors on capacity needs, joint development opportunities, and fundamental understanding.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, objectives, and master schedules; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Ensure adequate resources to enable success; regularly communicate status; present updates.
  • Interact with external customers with Corning Commercial groups to understand challenges and requirements.
  • Define clear functional requirements with internal customers; support business cases with Product Management to maximize value.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years total of technology, development, and manufacturing and/or manufacturing engineering with project management experience.
  • Strong program management, cross-functional leadership, and supplier/customer engagement skills.
  • Experience in bringing new products into manufacturing and scaling capacity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in HSDC domain or optical communications is a plus.
  • Global manufacturing experience and experience with contracts/CMOs.
