thyssenkrupp AG

Your responsibilities

The role independently drives the development, standardization, piloting, deployment, and lifecycle management of manufacturing processes across the global plant network.

It defines target processes and scalable standards, coordinates pilots and roll-outs, and ensures that proven solutions are transferred across plants and regions. Detailed technical process development and local implementation are carried out by Manufacturing Engineering, Lead Plants, and plant teams; this role provides the cross-plant direction, coordination, and standardization.

  • Develop and maintain global manufacturing process standards, reference models, guidelines, and governance processes, including version control, deviations, and change management.
  • Coordinate standard validation, approval, and periodic reviews, ensuring processes remain practical, scalable, and aligned with operational needs and technology changes.
  • Lead process deployment and lifecycle management across regions and plants, tracking implementation progress, adoption, operational impact, and deployment barriers.
  • Independently manage and develop the global Lead Plant framework, using Lead Plants and cross-regional process communities to validate, scale, and share best practices.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across the plant network, ensuring process expertise, lessons learned, and best practices are systematically documented and applied.

  • Strong capabilities in process development, standardization, governance, structured problem-solving, and translating technical and operational input into scalable standards.
