About the Role Join AbbVie's manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Operator responsible for setting up equipment for routine processes, operating complex equipment under supervision, monitoring production, and contributing to process improvements and compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Set up equipment for routine processes and operate assigned jobs under supervision.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to maintain operating conditions within target ranges and communicate issues to the appropriate individuals.
• Learn departmental processes and work with certified or qualified Trainers to gain proficiency in equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing changes in physical operations and written documents.
• Set up equipment to accommodate minor processing changes and support 5S implementation and SOP reviews.
• Troubleshoot problems with occasional assistance and make timely decisions to meet department goals.
• Attend meetings and participate in information sharing to promote production efficiency; resolve conflicts professionally.
• Work rotating shifts and occasional overtime as required.

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic technical knowledge with manufacturing experience in a chemical, biological, pharmaceutical, or similar environment.
• Knowledge of department operating procedures and guidelines, compliance and safety rules.
• Proficiency with either manual or controlled process equipment; GMP familiarity.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, with occasional assistance, and make timely decisions under occasional supervision.
• Willingness to learn from certified/qualified trainers and participate in 5S/continuous improvement activities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to resolve conflicts professionally.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with certified/qualified trainers and learning equipment processes.
• Exposure to 5S implementations and SOP reviews.
• Prior experience in a GMP environment.
