About the Role Sun Pharma is seeking a Manufacturing In-charge for Aerosol & Nasal Spray to assist the DGM in planning and executing batch manufacturing, overseeing Aerosol department production activities, and ensuring cGMP compliance. The role involves coordinating with QA, Engineering, Warehouse and R&D to release batches, maintain quality, and optimize resources. What You'll Do
- Prepare and sign Master Batch Manufacturing Records for commercial products, stability batches, exhibit batches, and characterization batches; manage risk assessments, process validation protocols, incident/investigation reports, CAPA plans and closure; change control, SOPs, and modification activities; and internal/regulatory quality audits.
- Act as Department Training Coordinator (DTC) for Aerosol & Nasal Spray: create and update Master Training Needs Matrix; assign LMS trainings; manage contract worker training; maintain Trainer Qualification Log; track and document training in LMS; keep manual training records; coordinate with L&OD.
- Assist the DGM in planning and execution of batch manufacturing and control of Aerosol department operations (DPI, MDI, Nasal Spray); ensure daily production activities meet quantity/quality targets and cGMP requirements.
- Allocate work to operators and production supervisors per production plan; optimize resources (men, materials, machines).
- Train manpower to achieve organizational goals and GMP compliance.
- Coordinate with QA for batch release, cleaning and process validation; coordinate with Engineering for machine maintenance and preventive maintenance scheduling; coordinate with Warehouse for material issuance and storage conditions.
- Coordinate with FDD/PDD (R&D) for characterization/trial/exhibit batches; prepare and review risk assessments and process validation protocols as required.
- Review, update, and execute MBMR/MBPR/SOP/Qualification Protocol as needed; review Master Formula & Master Product Specification from FDD when required.
- Raise purchase requirements for machine change parts and miscellaneous items; coordinate with Purchase for PO status and supplier deliveries.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports. What We're Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing operations for Aerosol & Nasal Spray (DPI/MDI) products and batch manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of cGMP, quality audits, CAPA, risk assessment, and process validation.
- Ability to train and coordinate staff, including LMS-based training and DTC responsibilities.
- Strong cross-functional coordination with QA, Engineering, Warehouse, and R&D (FDD/PDD).
- Aptitude for documentation: MBMR/MBPR/SOPs/Qualification Protocols, Master Formulas, and Master Product Specifications.
- Procurement awareness for change parts and material purchases; ability to track purchase orders and deliveries.
- Strong planning, organizational, and reporting skills.
