About the Role Manufacturing engineering specialist in Painting process and Equipment for Agricultural and Construction equipment vehicles. Knowledgeable of lean production principles, driving steps change through technological improvements in manufacturing process & product quality control. The canditate will be part of an international team where members are located in the different Regions. He will coordinate specifically for India & APAC region the governance of the painting technologies and local business execution. Will bring best practices from the other Regions as well as promote India and APAC best practices worldwide. What You'll Do
- Develops, designs and plans equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to enhance utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities for both current and new products.
- The individual shall deep dive into painting process and the related equipment integrated in the plants production system promoting the introduction of innovative technologies such as AI, digital tools, vision guidance and new chemicals/paints.
- Support business needs for case study development and investment estimation.
- With a good level of autonomy supports timely development of projects and activities, granting cost and productivity targets from project definition till operative running, through solution procurement and suppliers management, installation and commissioning in plants.
- Working in close collaboration with Regional ME and other departments such as Product platform Production, Maintenance, Quality, Energy, Health & Safety, etc.
- Drives investigations for process issues leading to test failures and ensure upstream feedback and problems resolution, including mitigation and permanent solutions.
- Effectively support the development of Painting community at regional level by promoting knowledge sharing and coaching plant resources to grow both in terms of technical know-how and autonomy management of paint processes. What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer focusing on painting processes and related equipment.
- Knowledgeable of lean production principles and driving improvements in manufacturing process and product quality.
- Ability to coordinate governance of painting technologies for India & APAC and share best practices worldwide.
- Strong collaboration with Regional ME and multiple departments (Product Platform Production, Maintenance, Quality, Energy, Health & Safety).
- Proven problem-solving skills; capable of leading investigations for process issues and implementing permanent solutions.
- Self-driven with autonomy to manage projects, costs, and supplier relationships from definition through installation and commissioning. Nice to Have
- Experience with AI, digital tools, and vision-guided painting technologies.
- Experience in regional governance and cross-regional knowledge sharing (India & APAC).
