About the Role You will play a key technical role supporting Manufactured Product orders with suppliers, focusing on supplier and project management, forecasting, and expediting. You will help ensure product quality and value by supporting manufacturing and test documentation, addressing process deviations, and guiding corrective actions. What You'll Do
- Provide technical support for Manufactured Product orders placed with Supplier Partners, including supplier/project management, order tracking, forecasting, and expediting.
- Support quality requirements for manufacturing and test documentation; work with processes and production personnel to detail existing methods and practices.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve process and schedule deviations; assist suppliers in implementing preventive/corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Provide consultative input to manufacturing area layouts to maximize work efficiency and materials flow.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and outside suppliers to complete the job; lead material acquisition strategies and perform PO and project management reviews for details, completeness, and schedule.
- Provide schedule forecasting support and participate in project team meetings.
- Ensure CAD/drafting understanding for production equipment, tooling and fixtures; apply knowledge of machining, casting, and assembly operations. What We're Looking For
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or related manufacturing fields; 3+ years of related technical manufacturing experience.
- Experience in highly complex, highly regulated, low-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem solving, error prevention, and process improvement; experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project; strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Comfortable in a matrix organizational structure; Leader, Collaborator, Communicator; ability to convert business needs into executable strategies.
- Excellent customer service and customer relationship building; self-starter with motivation to get the job done. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $67,000 - $90,000 per year (USD).
