Job title: Manufacturing Engineer
About the Role Mattel China Toys Mfg in Dongguan is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive product development from concept to production, including project management and resolving technical issues. The role also focuses on doll hair development and cross-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturability and timely delivery.
What You'll Do
- Develop, design and translate product concepts into defined products, including project management and technical support.
- Lead doll hair development including rooting, grooming and related tools.
- Lead development activities and resolve issues along the way.
- Liaise with related parties to ensure products can be manufactured and delivered to market meeting all requirements.
- Partner with other functions to drive innovation in product (hair) and process for cost and quality improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering (or related field).
- 2+ years of relevant experience in toy/manufacturing; manufacturing plant experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to work with leaders across the company.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, etc.
- Good English reading and writing skills (CET-4 or higher).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: CNY 10,000 - 14,000 monthly.
