About the Role The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. They also explore automation techniques, test new systems for efficiency, and plan factory layouts to optimize production. What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and review manufacturing procedures and equipment.
- Research automation techniques, test new systems for efficiency, and plan factory layouts to optimize production.
- Use science and mathematics to analyze manufacturing costs and KPIs; support project tracking and cross-regional benchmarking.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and data; provide management with data-driven reports to forecast future requirements.
- Measure process performance (OEE, process capability, cycle time, balancing, desaturation) and benchmarking.
- Review and calculate labor, material, and other production costs; adjust schedules and future requirements to aid decision making.
- Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve efficiency.
- Drive process standardization and optimization; participate in benchmarking with other regions. What We're Looking For
- Degree in manufacturing engineering or a related field; strong analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and manufacturing cost modeling.
- Experience designing and improving manufacturing processes and layouts; familiarity with automation assessments.
- Knowledge of key manufacturing metrics (OEE, cycle time, process capability, balancing).
- Ability to work collaboratively across regions and cross-functional teams; strong communication skills. Compensation & Benefits
