About the Role Alstom is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer for Welding based in Bursa to ensure the efficiency and quality of welding manufacturing processes, define industrial master data, and drive continuous improvement across serial production. What You'll Do
- Guiding product definition to improve manufacturability and achieve QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets during specification and preliminary design phases
- Participating in product design reviews and P-FMEA
- Validating prototypes and writing tooling specifications when required
- Performing ERP routings, work instructions, and inspection instructions, ensuring compliance with EHS and ergonomic standards
- Validating product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI
- Calculating precise method times and performing workstations task sequencing
- Supporting production to achieve manufacturing QCD targets during and after serial
- Industrializing retrofits after engineering changes
- Contributing to continuous improvement workshops and industrial feedback (REX) on manufacturing processes What We're Looking For
- Degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in English and Turkish (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing, preferably in the railway industry
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing engineering, including writing work instructions and line balancing
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP) for Bill of Materials, routings, and configuration follow-up
- Working knowledge of quality, EHS standards, and ergonomics
- Experience with Process FMEA, QRQC, and time analysis methods (MTM, MEK, UAS)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical, organized mindset; excellent communication and teamwork abilities Nice to Have
