About the Role This position focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency, cost, product quality, and worker safety by analyzing current methods, new technologies, and cost-reduction activities in designated areas. The role is 100% on-site at the New Holland, PA plant. What You'll Do
- Develops, designs, and plans equipment and machine layout.
- Evaluates workflow, safety precautions, and plant utilization to maximize manufacturing efficiency.
- Evaluates worker productivity and recommends improvements to increase manpower efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions.
- Develops metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output and identifies bottlenecks in equipment and process flow.
- Establishes accident prevention measures and plans and schedules training programs for personnel, ensuring compliance with safety standards and design guidelines.
- Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources, and structural design.
- Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements.
- Other related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years engineering experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, including delegation of work assignments and employee development initiatives. Compensation & Benefits
- The annual salary for this role is USD $137,475.00 - $183,300.00 plus any applicable bonus.
- Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as skill, experience, and qualifications.
