About the Role The Manufacturing CNC Programmer will model and post-process manufacturing projects requiring advanced high-speed CNC machining G-code, utilizing SolidWorks and Mastercam. This role supports Oceaneering’s Marine Services Division (MSD) and is based in Chesapeake, VA. Overtime may be required up to 20% of the year. What You'll Do
- Model files, generate toolpaths, and upload G-code for high-speed CNC machining projects using SolidWorks and Mastercam.
- Post-process CAM data and verify accuracy of produced G-code.
- Support Oceaneering’s Marine Services Division (MSD) in manufacturing projects; collaborate with cross-functional teams in Chesapeake, VA.
- Adhere to blueprint specifications and maintain close-tolerance machining requirements; apply applied math where needed.
- Manage overtime commitments (up to 20%) as project demands. What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED.
- 5+ years CNC process development and CAM post-editing experience with SolidWorks and Mastercam.
- Close-tolerance high-speed machining experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office; blueprint reading; applied math.
- US citizenship required. Nice to Have
- Experience with G-code and Microsoft Excel/Word; familiarity with blueprints. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $40-$46 per hour (on-site role in Chesapeake, VA).
- Overtime may be required up to 20% of the year.
