About the Role
Roche's 15-month Career Conversion Programme (CCP) trains and places Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Professionals in Singapore's biopharmaceuticals manufacturing sector. The programme combines local attachment with hands-on responsibilities in the Biochemical Manufacturing Department to develop skilled personnel to meet industry demand.
What You'll Do
- Support the Biochemical Manufacturing Department by executing assigned tasks to meet department goals.
- Prepare small equipment, clean and sterilize vessels, prepare solutions, monitor and operate biochemical processing equipment, collect raw materials samples, dispense materials, conduct environmental monitoring, and maintain housekeeping per Safety, cGMP, and Biochemical Manufacturing guidelines.
- Prioritize tasks and document work per approved manufacturing formulas.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives; operate computers for process control and data entry.
- Attend staff and shift-change meetings; collaborate with shift personnel and external support groups.
- Ensure safety requirements are followed; report safety incidents and near misses; support SHE in incident investigations.
- Comply with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) requirements; observe site security measures and report suspicious activity; support site security.
- Embrace Lean Production System (LPS) principles and contribute to continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering, or equivalent qualifications such as Diploma, NITEC, or similar.
- Experience in biologics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, interpersonal communication, and teamwork skills.
