About this role
AGCO is seeking a Manager for Wiring Harness Design & Electronic Hardware to lead a team responsible for the design, development and integration of vehicle wiring harness systems and the lifecycle management of harnesses and electronic hardware components such as ECUs, sensors and actuators for combine harvesters. The role coordinates work across geographies including India, the US, Brazil, and Italy, and ensures solutions align with product requirements, quality standards and platform strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead a distributed global team across multiple regions, driving alignment, capability development, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration
- Own the design, integration and delivery of wiring harnesses and electrical systems and components, ensuring high-quality deliverables, validation, documentation, and adherence to program milestones
- Define and execute electrical engineering roadmaps, contribute to system architecture and technology decisions, and drive platform harmonization, modularization and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, systems, validation, manufacturing and product management teams to ensure seamless integration and resolution of complex technical issues
- Serve as the primary technical interface for internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, while driving governance, risk management, status reporting and mitigation planning
Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field

Proven ability to lead electrical design and wiring harness implementations, and to lead and develop a global electrical engineering team, ensuring effective resource planning and collaboration

Proven track record in leading technical teams, with a deep understanding of electronics

Work Model and Compensation

This role follows AGCO’s on-site work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location a minimum of 4 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork

Compensation range: €46,000 – €72,000 gross annual salary, with final remuneration determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications in compliance with applicable regulations
