About the Role Join Cemex US as a Manager responsible for implementing and managing the Third Party Truck Management Strategy and center-led management. The role focuses on building long-term carrier relationships, collaboration, and performance management to support supply chain priorities in health & safety, service, cost, sustainability, compliance, and talent development. Leads all trucking initiatives related to sustainability, compliance, and risk management.

What You'll Do

• Manage Carrier RFQ’s, selection and vetting process.
• Manage Carrier Strategic Route Guide and Zero-Cost based reporting.
• Develop and monitor Carrier Scorecards (service, cost, safety).
• Gather market intelligence to drive strategic decisions for RFQ’s and Best practices.
• Responsible for developing and monitoring CO2 emissions for 3rd party Carriers.
• Lead Best Practices utilization of the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Implement Freight Payment Audit Solutions to reduce risk.

What We're Looking For

• 10 or more years of experience in Transportation and or Supply Chain related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, Procurement or Engineering.
• Bulk truck Transportation market and processes knowledge.
• End to End supply chain processes proficiency.
• Ability to understand transportation requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Ability to apply End to End Supply Chain concepts.
• Ability to manage data and develop concepts and information. (strong analytical skills)
• Knowledge in SAP, TMS and Analytical tools (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlick sense)
• APIC’s certification or SCOR knowledge (a plus)
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) (a plus)
