About the Role
Join Deloitte Tax LLP’s National Federal Tax Services as a Manager supporting the Tax Analysis & Information Reporting for Debt Investments (TARDI) team. You will help shape and deliver data-driven, web-based applications for complex tax planning, reporting, and compliance for large fixed income portfolios, blending business needs with technology. This role suits a technically grounded product owner and project manager who leads cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore delivery models.
What You'll Do
- Partner with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate tax, financial, and operational requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and delivery plans
- Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization, refinement, and roadmap alignment to deliver high-value features
- Lead Agile delivery activities across sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and status reporting across onshore and offshore team members
- Support testing, defect triage, release readiness, documentation, and adoption of enterprise tools and processes; mentor junior team members and interns

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, or a similar field
- 5+ years of experience in product ownership, project management, business analysis, or enterprise software delivery
- 5+ years of experience leading delivery of enterprise software applications from ideation through production release
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for software delivery teams
- Experience working with Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
- Ability to travel 25% on average
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Active accreditations: Licensed CPA in State of Practice/Primary Office if eligible to sit for the CPA; If not CPA eligible: Licensed Attorney; Enrolled Agent
- Certifications: PMP, CFA, Professional Engineer
- Preferred: CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Manager, PMI-ACP
- Experience in a financial services, tax technology, consulting, or professional services environment
- Experience with Microsoft .NET or C# application stacks, Azure cloud services, SQL, or data reporting workflows
- Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint tracking, and release planning
- Experience with enterprise documentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence or SharePoint

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $142,425 - $237,375 USD annually
- Eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, based on individual and organizational performance
