About the role

As Manager ServiceNow Workflow Applications, you will take ownership of strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow modules including Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Workplace Service Delivery (WSD), and optionally Legal Service Delivery (LSD) and Procurement Service Management. Your mission is to align these systems with BioNTech’s business goals, enhance user experiences, and support our broader Enterprise Service Management (ESM) strategy. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will unify capabilities, drive platform adoption, and ensure system reliability to empower seamless workflows across the organization.

Your contribution:

  • Define and communicate the vision, goals, and roadmap for ServiceNow Employee Workflow modules with a focus on autonomous workflows and agents
  • Lead unification efforts across HRSD, WSD, LSD, and Procurement modules to ensure integration and workflow continuity without disruption
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify use cases, co-design AI-driven workflows, and enable service owners to build prompts directly
  • Drive continuous improvement of Employee Workflow modules to optimize usability, service levels, and system performance trends
  • Support organizational change management by providing clear communication, training guidance, and documentation or successful platform adoption
  • Oversee vendor management efforts including contract realization and service delivery coordination with implementation partners
  • Lead a small external team to steer development efforts effectively

A good match:

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership or service management roles within IT or enterprise platforms
  • Hands-on experience managing ServiceNow modules such as HRSD and WSD; additional experience with LSD or S2P is a plus
  • Certified Implementation Specialist in relevant ServiceNow products is desirable
  • Proven track record in platform migration projects and transitioning enterprise solutions successfully
  • Familiarity with ESM environments or ITIL-based frameworks combined with strong Agile methodology expertise for managing product backlogs
  • Expertise in defining roadmaps for ServiceNow Employee Workflow modules aligned with strategic objectives
  • Ability to work collaboratively across IT teams, business stakeholders, and customer support functions
  • Excellent communication skills paired with stakeholder management expertise to align IT solutions with business needs effectively
  • Ability to capture complex requirements while championing manage-to-standard approaches
  • Data-driven mindset for optimizing workflows through metrics and analytics insights
  • Proactive problem-solving skills coupled with critical thinking to anticipate challenges
