Job title: Manager, Prvt Equity Acctng

About the Role Lead the Private Equity Accounting function, overseeing performance management, staffing decisions, and execution of strategic initiatives for private capital fund operations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial accounting, investor reporting, and service delivery. This role operates in a hybrid model, balancing time between office and remote work.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the Private Equity Accounting group(s).
  • Conduct the performance management process, identify training and development needs, and establish performance standards.
  • Make staffing decisions and ensure resources are available to accomplish priorities.
  • Participate in developing/input to the strategic plan and budget management process.
  • Provide additional leadership support within large specialized groups.
  • Focus on execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
  • Carry out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
  • Liaise cross-functionally with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
  • Conduct performance management and career development processes, provide input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provide hands-on training to staff.
  • Develop periodic goals, organize the work, set short-term priorities, monitor all activities, and ensure timely and accurate completion of the work.
  • Provide input and support to budget management process.

What We're Looking For

  • A college or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience (required / preferred).
  • Related industry qualification (required / preferred).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • In-depth functional / industry knowledge.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Technical skills / systems knowledge.
  • Leadership and organizational skills to manage and motivate teams toward goals.
  • Relevant experience in private capital administration or fund accounting.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a hybrid work model.

Nice to Have

  • Private equity accounting experience.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Leadership experience managing teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $103,000 - $175,200 USD annually.
