Manager, Project

About the Role As a Project Manager (PM) with Aecon's Nuclear sector, you will have overall responsibility for the successful execution of defined segments of work within a project, focusing on achieving KPIs for Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost. This role drives coordination across multiple functions to deliver complex infrastructure and energy projects. What You'll Do

• Coordinate project work groups to align on execution goals and track actions and deliverables across all groups.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update the project schedule for accuracy.
• Create and implement Action/Recovery Plans to address schedule performance issues.
• Monitor and validate project metrics (Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule) for assigned work segments.
• Identify and report any resource constraints or risks impacting the plan.
• Identify potential changes according to the project change management procedure.
• Collaborate with the construction team to produce/validate and maintain a staffing plan and Manpower Loading Forecast (MFL) for the assigned scope.
• Ensure all required materials and services are identified, ordered, and that material delivery risks have action/recovery plans.
• Lead a functional team across departments (construction, engineering, safety, procurement, etc.) to execute the project.
• Attend or arrange representation for project planning meetings, internal and customer reporting meetings as required.
• Coordinate prerequisite and execution task readiness per client and station reporting requirements, including schedule and risk review meetings with construction management, supervision, engineering, quality, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure readiness. What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in project management within construction/infrastructure settings, with ability to coordinate multiple work groups and manage scope, schedule, and resources.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration and deliverables. Nice to Have
• Experience with staffing planning and manpower loading forecasts.
