About the Role
Under general direction plans, coordinates, and supervises the Sacramento County Office of Education’s (SCOE) compensation and benefits operations; audits, plans, coordinates, and supervises payroll for participating county school districts and charter schools, including the collection and reporting of financial data; performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate payroll, supervise compensation and benefits, and audit financial data for SCOE and participating county school districts and charter schools.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise compensation, benefits, and payroll operations; ensure accurate collection and reporting of financial data.
- Provide leadership and guidance to payroll staff to ensure timely, accurate payroll services and compliance with policies.
What We're Looking For
- Experience planning, coordinating, and supervising compensation, benefits, and payroll operations for county school districts and charter schools; audit and report financial data.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work under general direction and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, and financial reporting in an education/government context.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $140,036.48 per year (25/26), plus benefits.
- Health coverage: $1,023.58 per month for single, $1,698.58 for two-party, or $1,898.58 for family (includes medical, dental, life, vision).
