About the Role The opportunity to join EY's Payroll and Employment Tax (PET) advisory team in Toronto as an experienced Manager, leading and managing complex Canadian payroll advisory engagements for a diverse client base. You’ll help clients manage risk, identify tax-saving opportunities, and meet payroll tax, social security, and related compliance obligations. What You'll Do
- Conduct Canadian payroll compliance reviews and deliver strategic payroll advisory services
- Advise clients on payroll strategy, compliance risks, and leading practices to optimize payroll operations
- Support compliance with Canadian federal and provincial payroll legislation, and regulations
- Provide guidance on payroll processes, including multi-jurisdictional payrolls, tax calculations, deductions, benefits, and statutory remittances
