About the Role The Manager or Senior Manager, Fixed Assets / Cost Segregation (AMCS) will join KPMG's Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice to lead cost segregation and fixed asset analyses for construction projects, real estate acquisitions, and renewable energy initiatives. You'll partner with clients and specialists to identify asset classifications that maximize tax outcomes and support innovative tax solutions.
What You'll Do
- Manage and perform cost segregation and fixed asset analyses for construction projects, real estate acquisitions, and renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.
- Analyze and review construction cost data, general ledger detail, architectural/engineering drawings, and capitalization support to determine asset classification and identify costs eligible for tax treatment.
- Oversee site visits and fieldwork to evaluate building components (such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems) and validate cost assumptions.
- Manage client relationships and collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality tax solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in cost segregation and fixed asset analyses relevant to construction projects, real estate acquisitions, or renewable energy initiatives.
- Ability to oversee site visits and fieldwork and validate cost assumptions.
