Manager of Professional Services

Role

We are looking for a Manager of Professional Services to join our team. This is a Costa Rica role, reporting to the Director of Professional Services AMS in the Professional Services department. You will lead the delivery and post-sales deployment programs for our clients. In this role, you’ll oversee a high-performing team of technical consultants and project managers, ensuring customer-centric excellence while driving the efficiency, scalability, and profitability of our cloud security solutions.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

Lead and manage a technical team of consultants and project managers responsible for Zscaler solution deployments and support in the AMS Central Region

Own the hiring, onboarding, development, and performance management for the team to ensure high-quality delivery

Manage cross-functional relationships across Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, and Support to drive successful deployments

Participate in long-term planning and strategic decision-making with global partners, including PS Sales and Practice leads

Drive operational excellence through process improvement, tooling, and the effective management of KPIs to enhance automation and reduce manual effort

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain

5+ years of experience in Professional Services or Consulting delivery within enterprise software or SaaS

3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing delivery teams in a high-growth environment

Proven experience managing geographically distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders

Demonstrated experience in leadership development and implementing organizational strategy

Technical expertise in network technologies, VPNs, firewalls, proxies, and cloud security protocols

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to optimize delivery workflows, operational efficiency, or team performance

Direct familiarity with Zscaler technology or cloud security frameworks

Relevant industry certifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP, PMP, or CISSP, or an advanced degree in IT or Computer Science
