About the Role
The Manager, News Technology Services leads technical operations for CBS News, managing technology infrastructure, hardware lifecycle, vendor relationships, and newsroom systems for major national and international coverage. This role combines technical expertise with strong project management to ensure reliable, scalable technology support for news operations. What You'll Do

Plan and deliver technology projects supporting news operations (broadcast, digital, live events).

Oversee technology setup, logistics, and staffing for major news events.

Coordinate cross-functional teams for system migrations, upgrades, and testing.

Communicate goals, timelines, and outcomes to key partners and management.

Manage lifecycle of technology assets (procurement, deployment, maintenance, disposal) across multiple locations.

Ensure robust system administration, patching, vulnerability remediation, and monitoring using enterprise tools.

Participate in administration of enterprise applications and user provisioning (Active Directory, OKTA, O365, Citrix, JAMF). What We're Looking For
