Job Summary

• The Salon Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the salon, supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness and organization, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring that salon policies and service standards are consistently followed.
• We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build a disciplined, productive, and customer-focused team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the salon and ensure efficient service delivery.

• Supervise staff, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and promote accountability.

• Ensure staff maintain professional conduct, punctuality, personal presentation, and adherence to salon policies.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, organization, and salon presentation.

• Monitor customer service and handle client complaints or concerns professionally.

• Ensure appointments, client flow, and service delivery are properly coordinated.

• Monitor service quality and ensure staff follow established procedures and standards.

• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.

• Monitor staff productivity and support improvements in business performance and customer retention.

• Work with management to improve operational efficiency and the overall client experience.

• Prepare regular reports on salon operations, staff performance, and issues requiring management attention.

• Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience in salon management, spa management, hospitality, or a similar service-based management role.

• Strong leadership, staff supervision, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• High standards of professionalism, personal presentation, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

• Ability to enforce rules fairly and manage staff effectively.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and report to management.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with appointment booking systems, sales records, or business management software are an advantage.

Preferred Qualities:

• The ideal candidate should be disciplined, proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced beauty and wellness environment.
• They should be able to lead by example, maintain high standards, and ensure that the salon operates in an organized and professional manner.

Salary

N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
