Risk Management and Control Monitoring

  • Control Environment and Monitoring: Design and implement monitoring programs, along with strengthening operational controls practices to ensure continuous alignment with network requirements, audit standards, compliance obligations, risk visibility, and network strategic direction.

  • Dashboard and Metrics Development: Build and maintain executive-level data reporting, key risk indicator (KRI) dashboards, and control assurance to give leadership clear visibility into DCI Participants’ compliance health.

Stakeholder Engagement and Process Modernization

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Build deep trust and strong working relationships across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product, Technology, and Operations.

  • Process Simplification and AI Adoption: Utilizes AI-enabled tools to optimize current processes, automating monitoring tools to maximize consistency and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • The Optimizer: You look beyond standard data and process to streamline network requirements, eliminating operational friction while tightening controls.

  • The Policy Translator: You can digest network requirements to convert them into clear, practical guidelines to support compliance adherence by DCI Participants

  • The Data-Driven Partner: You bring structure to operational controls, and compliance data standardization using metrics and visual dashboards

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in Payment Network Policy, Risk Management or Compliance within the financial services or payments industry

  • At least 3 years of Project Management, Business Analysis or Operational Management experience within the financial services or payments industry

  • At least 3 years of experience developing, evaluating, and implementing compliance and risk assessment activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with card payment networks, issuing and acquiring institutions and payment processors

  • Experience creating executive dashboards or operational tracking systems using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Advanced Excel

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile/Scrum, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications
