About the Role As a Service Manager at ASM, you will lead all customer service operations for ASM equipment within your assigned region, ensuring strong performance, reliability and customer satisfaction. You will oversee installation, qualification, and ongoing support of ALD, PEALD, CVD, PECVD, and EPI tools; manage spare parts operations, and lead a team of Field Service Engineers. You will partner closely with Micron and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence and build a strong, professional service organization. What You'll Do
- Provide technical and operational leadership for service operations across the region, including installation, qualification, and service support of ASM equipment.
- Ensure service jobs are completed within scheduled timeframes and according to plan; participate early in new product development to ensure field readiness.
- Improve service processes, reporting structures, and procedural standards; establish standardization and best practices for service operations.
- Create an optimal environment for product support, including tools and procedures; drive proper use of documentation and systems to support continuous improvement; promote accurate reporting (FSM usage and time tracking).
- Lead safety, quality, and compliance; ensure adherence to ASM policies, service bulletins, and procedures; foster a Safety and Quality First culture.
- Manage customer and account leadership; build and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders (including the Micron account); ensure contractual service obligations are met and drive customer satisfaction.
- Oversee spare parts operations and financial performance across service and spares; communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to leadership; partner with Micron and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
- Lead and develop a team of Field Service Engineers to deliver high-quality service. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree; 10-25% travel expected.
- Experience leading field service operations for ASM equipment with ALD, PEALD, CVD, PECVD, and EPI tools.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and customer relationship management skills; proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Financial acumen to manage service and spares profitability and reporting.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance; strong communication and stakeholder management.
