About the Role Relay Operations Center (ROC) is the central command and control center for ‘Transportation Execution’ across the Amazon Supply Chain network supporting multiple geographies like NA, and EU. ROC handles exceptions, resolves issues, and informs stakeholders; also analyzes network data to drive process improvements. As a Manager I on ROC, you will oversee shift operations, drive performance, and help ensure timely freight movements between vendors, Amazon facilities, and carrier hubs. What You'll Do
- Manage a shift, continuously identifying opportunities to improve team performance and own associated change management.
- Develop and reference performance metrics to drive team results.
- Identify business impact of trends and make data-backed decisions.
- Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
- Escalate problems or data variances to the relevant owners and follow through on resolutions.
- Pull data from multiple databases (Excel, Access, SQL) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
- Serve as escalation point for transportation specialists.
- Own process/business-level reports/actions and drive compliance.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required. What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
