Our Banking and Financial Services Tax team works closely with our business, finance and central tax teams to provide tax support across Banking and Financial Services. We help ensure our products and transactions meet tax requirements, while strengthening governance, controls and processes to support sustainable business growth.

What role will you play?

In this role you will provide practical and commercial GST advice across Banking and Financial Services’ products, transactions and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to assess GST impacts, support decision-making and help achieve favourable tax outcomes. You will play a key role in ensuring GST advice is embedded into business processes and systems, with effective controls that are scalable and efficient. You will also support responses to revenue authorities, conduct reviews of key GST risk areas, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our tax governance and control environment, including opportunities for greater automation and operational efficiency.

What you offer

• Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce or a related field
• 5+ years’ of experience in GST advisory within a consulting or corporate environment
• Strong governance, controls and assurance capability with a practical approach to risk management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment.
