Manager (GenAI/AI Insurance)

About the Role EY GDS is looking for a motivated Gen AI Manager to lead Gen AI initiatives within the Insurance domain, spanning areas such as marketing, underwriting, claims, pricing and fraud. You will lead the design, development and deployment of Gen AI solutions and drive adoption across client engagements. What You'll Do

• Lead the development and implementation of Gen AI/AI strategies specifically tailored to the Insurance industry.
• Translate business requirements into GenAI/AI/advanced analytics problems and guide a team of data scientists, engineers, product managers and underwriters.
• Champion the integration of Gen AI tools into existing workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases and prioritize initiatives across marketing, underwriting, claims, pricing, and fraud.
• Oversee development, training and deployment of Gen AI models for tasks such as policy generation, claims processing, and fraud detection.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical considerations when utilizing Gen AI.
• Drive business development, client engagement, proposals and senior stakeholder presentations.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing to grow the Gen AI ecosystem within the company.
• Stay up to date on Gen AI advancements and apply them to insurance applications.
• Present results and insights clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage a team of Gen AI specialists, providing direction and mentorship.
• Provide thought leadership on best practices and methodologies for Insurance.
• Mentor and coach junior analysts and developers on the team. What We're Looking For
• Over 10 years of experience in AI and advanced analytics, with more than 5 years specializing in insurance analytics.
• Proven track record of building and deploying analytical solutions in insurance.
• Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science or related field.
• Strong business understanding with ability to translate requirements into GenAI solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage client relationships. Nice to Have
