About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Java Engineer with 15–18 years of hands-on software development experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and distributed systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, ReactJS/Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases, along with experience in cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role involving end-to-end development, system architecture, technical ownership, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role does not involve direct people management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern frontend frameworks.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and distributed systems following microservices architecture principles.

• Develop responsive user interfaces using ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver business-critical applications.

• Translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions and development tasks.

• Take end-to-end ownership of application development, deployment, maintenance, and production support.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and database efficiency.

• Drive best practices in automated testing, CI/CD, code quality, and Agile development.

• Participate in production support and on-call rotations when required.

• Leverage approved AI-assisted development tools in accordance with organizational policies.

• Required Qualifications / Must-Have Skills

• Experience: 15–18 years of hands-on software engineering experience, including technical ownership of complex applications.

• Backend Development

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.

• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.

• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system architecture.

• Frontend Development

• Hands-on experience with ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern frontend development practices.

• Experience developing scalable, responsive web applications.

• Database Management

• Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Expertise in database schema design, SQL queries, and performance optimization.

• Architecture & Engineering

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, loose coupling, and service encapsulation.

• Experience designing scalable and reliable distributed applications.

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.

• Experience defining technical metrics, monitoring application health, and managing operational risks.

• Technical Leadership

• Proven ability to take ownership of technical solutions from design through production deployment.

• Experience mentoring developers and conducting code reviews.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.

• Preferred Qualifications / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in AdTech, programmatic advertising, or real-time bidding (RTB) platforms.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.

• Familiarity with streaming and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, SNS, or SQS.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
