Eni is seeking a Manager, Energy Law in Abuja, Nigeria. The role focuses on providing expert legal guidance within the corporate, regulatory, and energy sectors, supporting the company’s operations and initiatives in the Nigerian energy landscape. The successful candidate will bring strong legal acumen, practical advisory experience, and a collaborative approach to managing contracts and disputes to enable compliant and efficient business activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advisory on corporate, regulatory, and energy law to support business decisions and operations
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect the company’s interests and mitigate risk
- Manage disputes and coordinate with internal teams and external counsel as needed to resolve issues effectively
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance across relevant energy sector activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategy with business objectives
Requirements
- Degree in Law (LLB)
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association
- Strong knowledge of corporate, regulatory, and energy law
- Experience in legal advisory, contracts, and dispute management
