About the Role EY GDS – Assurance FAAS – Manager – Controllership Transformation (Core) is a leadership role within EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services. You will use deep techno-functional knowledge to drive transformation across record-to-report processes, often without hands-on technology implementation, as a transformation lead working with ERP platforms to improve efficiency, controls, and outcomes. What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end Record-to-Report transformation initiatives across process areas, acting as a transformation lead (not PMO).
- Apply deep techno-functional knowledge of ERP platforms (e.g., SAP FI/CO, COPA, Closing Cockpit, SAP BPC, SAP Group Reporting; SAP FI/CO integration with SAP MM, SD, PP; Oracle Fusion Financial) to design and deliver future-state R2R processes.
- Drive transformation across Revenue Recognition, Accruals, Intercompany reconciliation, Manual Journal Entries automation, Asset Accounting, Chart of Accounts and Master Data, Reconciliations (cash, bank, sales), Sub-ledger accounting, Consolidation, Financial statements and notes/disclosures, Cost Accounting and Inventory profitability.
- Provide subject-matter expertise and lead delivery teams in R2R transformation/implementation engagements; coordinate with regional stakeholders and client teams.
- Demonstrate deep ERP- platform integration knowledge to connect processes, data, and reporting across the enterprise. What We're Looking For
- CA, MBA (Finance) with Commerce background; or equivalent: CWA, CMA, CFA, M.Com.
- Experience in Finance Transformation/FAAS or related advisory; track record of leading transformation initiatives in record-to-report domains.
- Deep techno-functional knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP FI/CO, COPA, SAP Closing Cockpit, SAP BPC, SAP Group Reporting, and integration with SAP MM/SD/PP; familiarity with Oracle Fusion Financial is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management; able to work in a global, collaborative environment.
