Manager

About the Role Acts as the right-hand person to the GM, filling in for the GM in all functions when they are out of the building. Supports the GM in any way possible for the benefit of the restaurant team and operations. This role emphasizes leadership, operations support, and ensuring quality and guest satisfaction. What You'll Do

• Support all restaurant operations to ensure product quality and customer service.
• Manage team member performance; monitor food and labor costs, budgeting, and sales building.
• Maintain and operate restaurant equipment.
• Handle food and beverage preparation, storage, inventory, and presentation; service.
• Manage vendor invoices and the food ordering system.
• Maintain manager logs and communications.
• Ensure cash handling and POS accuracy and security.
• Communicate with team members, guests, vendors, and Hielan personnel for various needs.
• Act as Kitchen Manager in the Hielan area of responsibility; should be acting in this role under the GM unless approved by the Area Director and RVP.
• Understand and practice safe food handling procedures to ensure compliance with local health standards and Steritech readiness.
• Know and work the Quarterly Business Plan with proficiency, collaborating with the GM to prepare ideas. What We're Looking For
• Experience as Kitchen Manager or readiness to act in that role under the GM.
• Ability to support the GM and operate in their absence.
• Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and local health standards; Steritech readiness.
• Proficiency in budgeting, food and labor costs, and sales building.
• Excellent communication with team members, guests, vendors, and franchise personnel.
• Thoroughness with vendor invoices and the food ordering system. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year
