Manager - Broker Account Monitoring

The manager works with Customers (existing and new), Brokers, aggregators and the operational, product and data teams at Star to streamline and optimize

· Broker Data Feed activation

· Feed data quality

· Account activation/de-activation

· Data ingestion monitoring and issue resolution

The position works cross functionally to ensure frictionless implementations, ongoing optimization and effortless maintenance of integrations to ingest transactions and holdings across asset classes. The objective is to transform broker account monitoring from an operating requirement to a meaningful competitive differentiator

Product

Product: The manager will curate broker account integration and connectness as a product, collaborating with the other PM’s to build product features that eliminate friction and effort to the Customer in establishing feeds, managing feed health, reducing mismatch in the processing and bringing processes such as account activation/de-activation into the product. This extends to better enabling both employees and relatives subject to monitoring and to minimizing the effort required by the compliance team to maintain.

Customers:

Work with customers (Existing and New) to develop optimal mix of broker feed data among 1) Direct Feeds, 2) Aggregators and 3) SDE

Develop the market positioning and differentiation of Broker Management, represent the value proposition during the sales process

Work to expand direct broker relationships and/or aggregator account availability to meet new customer needs during initial sale

Work with RMs and SSEs on cadence, touchpoints and communications to maintain performance and optimal mix for customers over time. Taking part in sales process and customer QBRs re: optimization, opportunities, performance, issues, requests

Data Team:

Collaborate on feed optimization and onboarding of new customers

Work with Data Team on monitoring and continued development and performance of monitoring system of broker and feed performance. Ensure our internal tools serve and

evolve to support the overall mission of the Broker Management program across all facets – Direct Feeds, Aggregators and SDE

Owning, maintaining, expanding the Broker Information section of Star Tools to document contacts, procedures and policies of each direct broker feed.

Services:

Document and update broker feed setup requirements for each broker feed (playbooks) for PS team to utilize during customer implementation

Brokers:

Proactively target and establish relationships to expand the quantity and quality of direct broker relationships

Establish and maintain criteria for Star Preferred Brokers. Monitor performance for maintaining status. Promote and recruit new members.

Work with Data Team on new feed setup

Routinely connect with existing brokers to bolster relationships, motivate performance and ensure up to date documentation of feed processes and account availability.

Marketing:

Ensure Star Preferred Brokers have ample opportunity to take part in Star promotions, events, articles, webinars etc. to increase access to Star customer base.

Aggregators:

Routinely connect with and evaluate current and aggregators to bolster relationships, motivate performance and ensure optimal terms and account availability.

SDE Team:

Perform routine audits to determine if any existing SDE accounts can be moved proactively up the hierarchy (optimizing) to Aggregator or Direct Feeds. Manage the process of optimization and reporting out to the customer.

This is a senior level role.

Skills and Experience

Experience within financial services, regtech, compliance, surveillance, or similarly regulated domains.

Strong commercial instincts — the ability to connect technical investment to customer value and business outcomes.

• Experience of SaaS sales and an understanding of SaaS industry standards and sales approaches

• Familiarity with compliance-led buying cycles influenced by regulatory pressure, risk mitigation and audit requirements.
