Job title: Manager, Assembly
About the Role As an Assembly Manager you will assist the Manufacturing Manager and oversee the operation of the Assembly department to ensure production plans, quality, and efficiency targets are met.
What You'll Do
- Define department strategy, KPIs and goals; plan, organize, execute and review to achieve targets.
- Oversee assembly operations including assembly, maintenance, quality, SAP/ITS system administration, ISO/EMS/TS16949/CSR/RBA compliance to meet production plans and customer requirements.
- Define policies, procedures, processes and work instructions for assembly operations to optimize resource use and improve overall machines/lines effectiveness.
- Manage production trials, transfers and new product development under the department scope.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives such as zero defects, innovation and cost-saving plans.
- Recruit, set and review targets; train and coach subordinates; manage performance.
- Manage financial-related department operations.
- Align self and team goals to support quality and on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Company Asset Protection Management System policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- College degree or higher.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Preferred: technical background; FATP process; automation experience is a plus.
- Skills and competencies: engineering and manufacturing knowledge; process design; 7 QC tools; ISO/CSR/RBA requirements; strong English (oral and written); work planning; problem-solving; training/mentoring; leadership and people management; Kaizen and innovation; performance assessment.
