About the Role The Manager, ABM Operations and Projects leads a team responsible for the management and daily operations of the Bank’s ABM network in Canada, including cash management and third-party servicing for all outsourced ABMs. The role also oversees the ABM claims and settlement process with external service providers. This position supports the delivery of secure, cost-effective currency supply solutions across the branch and ABM networks. What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Bank’s ABM network, including cash forecasting, load optimization, and third-party servicing, ensuring adherence to strict timelines and file transmission requirements.
- Oversee forecasting tools, models, and controls to ensure accurate cash positioning, minimize out-of-cash events, and balance service levels with cost efficiency.
- Manage the ABM claims and settlement process and oversee centralized currency processing.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors (including third-party service providers), regulators, and industry partners to ensure high-quality service and competitive value from suppliers.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and the Bank’s risk appetite. What We're Looking For
- Experience leading operations of a Bank’s ABM network and currency services, with ability to manage cash management, ABM servicing and maintenance, and centralized processing.
- Strong forecasting, data analytics, and cash-positioning skills, with the ability to balance service levels and cost efficiency.
- Experience managing claims and settlements with external service providers and coordinating with vendors.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, regulators, and industry partners.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the Bank’s risk appetite; commitment to compliant operations.
